Welcome Health Professionals PDF Print E-mail

Pediatricians and other health professionals caring for children need reliable information to deliver the best care for children. The American College of Pediatricians provides practical resources to professionals involved in the healthcare of children.

The American College of Pediatricians encourages parents to be deliberate and active in their childrearing efforts.  To promote this approach, the College has developed a poster for pediatricians with the message to parents: "Lead Your Child to Good Health."  An illustrated, full color POSTER of "Lead Your Child" is available for purchase. If interested, call the office at 888-376-1877. Posters are $5 each and available in two sizes: 8.5 x 11 or 11 x 14. This price includes shipping. When multiple posters are ordered, the price per poster is reduced. Please have your credit card ready or inquire about paying by check.

Practical resources for professionals are listed by topic and include reading material and educational websites.

Patient Information Handouts are available. These handouts are downloadable in Adobe PDF format and reproducible for use in a pediatric practice. Handouts include the Discipline Series (Meeting the Challenges of Parenting, Time Out, Disciplinary Spanking, Childhood Tantrums and Whining), HPV Vaccine, Healthy Eating, and more. Members need to log in to access these resources. Additional handouts provided by other College members are available to members who are logged in.
