2014 National Meeting of the College

The ACPeds national meeting is open to members and guests. The following topics will be offered beginning at 1:30 pm on Thursday, July 17, 2014:

A block of rooms has been reserved for ACPeds members at The Inn at Harbour Town. The block is reserved for July 16 and 17. The first 10 ACPeds members to book their rooms at The Inn will receive a rebate of $25/night for the nights of July 16 and 17. Hilton Head is a resort island with loads of family entertainment. Plan your vacation around the meeting. Your family will be glad you did! The island has many hotels, villas and homes for rent. Less expensive accommodations can also be found off of the island. It’s is a busy place in July, so book early. We look forward to seeing you!
*Accreditation Statement: This CME activity has been planned and implemented in accordance with the Essential Areas and Policies of the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education through the joint providership of the Christian Medical & Dental Association (CMDA) and the American College of Pediatricians (ACPeds). The CMDA is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education to provide continuing medical education for physicians.
The AMA Designation Statement: The Christian Medical & Dental Associations designates this educational activity for a maximum of 4 AMA PRA Category 1 CreditsTM. Physicians should only claim credit commensurate with the extent of their participation.
The cost of CME at the ACPeds meeting is $20/credit hour per member and $30/credit hour per non-member. Payable in advance to the College by check or credit card.
Educational Purpose: The purpose of this activity is to enhance physicians’ competence in the areas covered specifically and as a physician overall.
Target Audience: This course is designed for pediatricians, and other primary care physicians.
Educational Format: The format for this course consists of 45 minute lectures, each followed by 15-minute question and answer period. The sessions are designed to facilitate exchange of information and dialogue between presenters and participants.
